hello i have a g3 300mhz dt. the video sometimes works(original card, sometimes not. I will get a startup chime but no video. i have a working g3 233 dt and swapped the video board/card? to no avail. sometimes i get vertical lines across the screen sometimes i get a square of vertical lines in the upper left hand corner of the screen. i was told it's the video card, but am not so sure because of the swap, and continued problem. does this indicate a major problem?
do you think i should just move evrything over to the 233 even the 300 processor? the 300 has a dvd drive, more memory and an extra hd, but the 233 has only 2 working ram slots.
