Aha the thing to do there (if you have the discs) is run the software restore discs that come with new Dual G4's (numbered 1 to 4) and just select Classic OS 9. This will put classic back onto any G4 machine, I have used it quite a lot on our G4 machines to fix classic as its a quick and simple way of getting it back up and running if its knackered.
