The only thing I have found for ordinary users is that some companies use os9 self extracting archives for OS X apps,drivers and ppd's.
so it can be a pain in the ass if allyou need it for is those random sea's from time to time.
i.e. canon fiery print server driver OS X package in an os 9 .sea WHY??????
If it's a StuffIt SEA then you should just be able to drop it on an OS X version of StuffIt to expand it.
