is that I'm a video editor by trade and am always on the prowl for more disk
space. Anyway, $90 is just way too much moola for the mere controller card.
I think that PeeCee people only pay around $15-30 for functional cards. I

You probably don't need a 133 card for video.  A 100 would do I think, as far as
capture and playback is concerned.  The problem is moving big files around is
pretty slow. You could probably get a used 100 for a few bucks since they're out
of date.  

I have 4 drives in my beige minitower with about 300 gigs, almost enough to be
comfortable in video.   Three of them are on a 133 board.   The 4th would be too
if I could figure out how to route wires. 

 Considering the low cost of drives, the board might seem more reasonable.

I have gotten two free pc boards with drive purchases.  Useless to me.  Weird.
