Hi Dana and g-list,

Thinking others might have midi problems with their G, I am continuing this discussion on the list too.

Dana, et.al., what we are using is "Cybersound Studio 3.0, Mac OS/Power PC" It comes with a midi keyboard, midi to serial interface and an apps. CD. Also the keyboard is being used with the instructional software, "Piano Discovery." More on that later. The keyboard is plugged into the printer port as a Palm cradle is plugged into the modem port. An ethernet cable is in that port for DSL. I believe AppleTalk needs to be on for DSL but not for midi or printer. Not sure on Palm.
Am not using a port expander. Am using OMS.

Dana I will try your last suggestions and see. However, I would REALLY like to find one of the apps. I mentioned, "Serial Killer", Serial Setter," or "CommCloser," if you or anyone out there knows where to find them or even where to look, I would much appreciate the info.

I'll let you all know what happens.

Thanks all,
           Anand
