My beige G3/233 seems to be happy with 10.2.8 on it. Is there any advantage to
going up to 10.3? Reading about all the features, improvments and bug fixes
certainly makes it attractive, but realistically from a user's point of view,
just how much difference will I see? I use the machine for some Photoshop/
Illustrator work, word processing and the web e-mail thing.

I have to say that for graphics, the much improved monitor calibration system
might be worth it for you. I always do my Photoshop work in os9 since I could
never get colors to match in 10.2.x. That is, images that were color corrected
in 9 looked awful in 10 even though it was the same equipment and monitor
calibration. In 10.3.2, not only do the colors match the familiar settings, my
second monitor, a cheap one, closely matches my Sony Trinitron.

I like that you can drag a window from anywhere on the frame as in 9 but not in
10.2. This is important to me when my second monitor is turned off but windows
stick up into it's space.

I haven't tried printing in the new os. I MUCH prefer printing in 9 or classic
for a variety of reasons, but there have been changes in Panther. Has anyone
tried it yet?
