I have a Quicksilver G4 that has been running OS 9.1 for a couple of years so it has a lot of stuff on it I need to preserve. Can I upgrade it to OS 9.2.2 without worrying about losing anything?
Thanks -- James K Morgan
It is always recommended to back up before system upgrades *BUT*
Provided you do not have any failing hardware the upgrade should be smooth.
*NOTE* That 9.2.2 will move your files around in preparation for OSX so you will find your files shuffled around. They are there just moved around.
I never knew anyone who lost any files unless they had failing hardware anyway. -- Thanks,
