Hello- I am working for a non profit that has a Power Mac G3. With 3 partioned drives 17gb, 4gb and 4gb. and I think 385mb memory. We will be using the machine for slide scanning, photoshop and dreamweaver.
What are the advantages or disadvantages of upgrading to OS x. something (I know X.3 is not a possiblity)? I have photoshop 6 and dreamweaver mx. I'm guessing they will run if with the classic environment option of OSX. Am I correct? Also, we were planning on purchasing an office software package that I think only runs with OSX. But overall it is more important that we use the machine for the graphics programs I mentioned above. Please advise. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
