Hi Everyone:

Wow - there's a lot of good information available in
this group. Thanks for your input.

I'm starting in the following order:

RAM - the Biggie; and apparently it's ok to use the
PC133
Hard Drive - at least 60mb, 7200 RPM, probably
partitioned.
Video Card - I'd like to watch DVDs and do more
digital photo work.
DVD-R - looks like Toshiba or LG/Lite-on are the favs
here? The reports at accelerate your mac seem to
favor those.
Processor Upgrade - I have a 350 which right now seems
pretty darn fast, but I'll keep an out for decently
priced upgrade cards.

BTW, there were a couple of mentions of the USB ports
on the B&W being a bit "suspect." I can't put my
finger on it, but I've noticed my USB devices
sometimes act a bit wonky, for lack of a better word,
'cause they're not malfunctioning. Am I asking for
problems if I add a hub or 2?

Anyway, again, I appreciate your input. It's not
always easy to get practical "real world" advice. And
while the couple of posts about unknown dual system
boot problems stil have me a bit jittery, I'm going
for it!

Thanks,
Nicole
