The steps are to prepare the machine for the upgrade, then flash the ROM. After that, you install the ZIF card.

I'm on a B&W Rev 2 running OS 10.2.8. Checking the system profiler it says, "boot ROM info 1.1 f4." Does the "f4" mean anything in this context? Will I be able to use a G4 zif in this machine?
