Hello and greetings to list members. I have a question and would like some advice. I've been given a Radius MotoDV software package which includes a PCI firewire card. Do you think I could use this card in my PowerMac G3 266mhz DT running OS 9.2.2 with 192mb of ram, as a straight firewire card independent of the MotoDv software which is for moving digital video between your camcorder and computer. I'm hoping that all I will need to do will be to load the firewire extensions in order to use the card, because I don't have a camcorder, so wouldn't be utilizing these features of the card.
