We have an Epson C82 here that stopped printing black. A new cartridge did not fix the problem. Anyone with hints on cleaning the print head? I know they're not in the cartridge but are in the print head on the printer, and I'm not at all afraid of dissasembling it.
Before attacking it manually with some sort of solvent, try running the head cleaning cycle half a dozen times...
This happens to us all the time if we don't use our Epsons at least twice a week.
