I can't help but wonder if Nail Polish Remover (the acetone kind) wouldn't
do a better and faster job. Rubbing alcohol is mostly water.

the plastics in the print head into a coagulated mass. DON'T GO THERE!
Acetone can dissolve almost any plastic!
