I've been watching this conversation with interest because I have a similar setup. Running a B&W G3 with 10.2.8 and 9.2.2 on separate drives.
Followed all the directions, ran all the command lines indicated on the website and still get no printing. Print center is telling me that I'm printing to the HP935 connected to a W2K machine, but after nearly 24 hours, I'm beginning to suspect that I'm not going to see the page I sent to the printer. ;->
Is it possible that this won't work with a USB printer connected to the PC?
I mean everything I've done indicated it should work, but alas....
Thanks for any advice!

Open Terminal, then type "cd /usr/bin".
The specific command on that website can be run by copying the text from the
webpage, opening terminal and pasting the command in and running. No need to
navigate to /usr/bin.
Be careful with commands that require "root" access. Doing something wrong
can be devastating when logged in as root. Commands like "su" or "sudo"
requires root access, and when you run it it will ask for your admin
password. The "su" stands for Super User.
Tread carefully.

Anthony;
Follow the instructions exactly, and it works like a charm on X.2.8.
You need to link the print spooler to the CUPS backend, install the GIMP
Print driver and then add the SMB Printer. Be sure the printer is shared
from the windows machine.
I print to an HP Photosmart printer hanging off my XP machine, and it works
well.
Just read the web page and do it exactly as is says.

Hey Mike :)
I'll try that after I get back in from work. Will let you know how it turns
out. Can you tell me how I can see the usr/bin folders?
