At the office, I use OS X for monitoring the Network I run and maintain. I use the Microsoft Remote Desktop Client, to maintain our Windows 2000 Servers. I of course use Office X, for email and Word Processing. Other-times, I need to burn CD's for cross platform compatibility, using Toast. I also use the Network Utility to do Ping Servers, etc. When I need to do something in Windows, I use Virtual PC. Sometimes, I use the terminal to process some of my workload. I find the command line, can be real time saver.

At home, I do Audio Work. I use Jam, with Toast to make professional music CD's. I also use Bias Peak to do audio editing. From there I use all my iApps. This includes iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, and iDVD. I often use PhotoShop CS to do edit Photographs, and web images. Sometimes, I use Dreamweaver to edit my girlfriends web site. I have Final Cut Pro HD, and DVD studio Pro, put haven't put in the time to learn them yet.

None of this could happen if I was using OS 9.

Regards,

Aaron

Aaron,

I am curious what your daily workload is on the OS X, what you use it for and what not. I am wondering if it is different than what I do. I still prefer OS 9, but that is only my opinion. :)
