Aaron,

I am curious what your daily workload is on the OS X, what you use it for and
what not. I am wondering if it is different than what I do. I still prefer OS
9, but that is only my opinion. :)

I'm still partial to os 9 for graphics work. I find printing annoying in X,
even 10.3.3, at least with myu Epson printer. My older laser printer (NEC 95)
is useless in X. Also, I find it hard to match monitor settings between 9 and X
so photo work I did in 9 doesn't match what I see in X. In 10.2.x , classic
apps worked fine and printing in classic was just like in 9. But in 10.3 on my
Beige, classic does not work well. I get mysterious memory warnings about
classic that I can't explain and hardly ever saw in Jaguar. Even if no classic
apps are running. Also the cursor is jerky and useless in photoshop (5.5 which
I prefer) when running in classic.

So I'm a two os guy. All my video work using Final Cut Express and iDVD and
other utilities, happens in X. I love my X-Planes fligh simulator in X too. I
like the windows set up and love F9. I love memory protection...it never
crashes the machine. But for graphics and serious printing I boot in 9.

Not a lot of other members of this list seem to have these problems, but I'm
really a two os guy. Got to be.
