I have a beige g3 rev. 1 rom, 512 mb ram, 266 mhz,ATI Radeon 7000 mac edition and a WD 40 GB drive running X vers. 10.2.8. I just bought a samsung CDRW/DVD drive model SM-348B. Installed it in to the machine. I want to be able to play DVD's. Cd burning isnt really important at this point; one thing at a time. The previous drive was the OEM apple 24 x cdrom. Anyone got any ideas?
