I am trying to convince people at work that OSX is a viable server OS. So, I would like to set up a OSX server box and see if it would be a good mail server and parhaps even do NFS right (that would be a biggie here). The only machine I have available is a 350MHz G3 with 320MB of RAM and a 20GB HD. Installation of OSX server 10.3 seems to go ok until it says it needs to restart the machine. I let it do it. It rebooted but has not come back for 5 minutes. By that I mean the screen is still dark (no video signal at all), no sad mac or anything. What is going on here? Should I have waited more?
