I have an ibook and an imac.
I am looking for a good scanner for OCRing an old book.
I am confused about the usb 1 & 2 speeds.

*Canon CanoScan N650U Flatbed Scanner
I read reviews at epinion and it said this computer does not scan 3 D objects or even a magazine with a crease
It said the paper must be completely flat, while others said it scanned books good.

*Canon CanoScan LiDE 20 Flatbed Scanner
There was not much reviews on this scanner except it is a good scanner.

They come with OmniPage.

Does anyone have either of these scanners?
Could someone tell me if they know off hand if all imac or all ibooks are usb 2?

Thank you!
Kim
