Try using the Asante default IP address, which is 192.168.123.254
You can also find your router's LAN IP Address on the Router's status screen.
Also, be use to use lp (that is lowercase LP) for the queue name
However, when I input the router's IP address for the printer just now, in trying to get the iMac to acknowledge it, it finally accepted the printer, and let the print dialogue box open, and started "printing" but it Stops before it can finish spooling.
Be sure to reboot the printer, computer and router after configuring it. I know we are supposed to be beyond that in OSX, but it made a big difference for me.
I find that our LaserWriter 16/600 chokes on printing large graphics, such as complicated web pages. That may or may not be your problem here. If necessary, I have saved (via the print menu) as a pdf file, then printed it a few pages at a time.
It sound like you have the same router we are using. Asante's directions were pretty good. See if you have a chapter called "Network Print Server Setup."
