what you need is an atenuator/impedance match. basically, you need to put about a 1k resistor on each of the L/R outputs from the g3 to ground, and then a series resistor in the 10k-100k (or possibly 1M ohm) range in series between the L/R g3 outputs and the mic level L/R inputs, and of course run the ground connection straight through.
i'm not sure where you'd find this, radio shack might have them, someplace that handles PA or stereo equipment might have them. if you can't find one, i could certainly build you a nice one with variable attenuation (just use a pot instead of the 10k-100k resistors mentioned above for easy adjustment of the level). if you can't find one and would like one built, contact me off list, i could probably put one together in a nice little box fairly cheaply and with good quality (been a major electronics nut for a long, long time and i have done design work on high end scientific gear). just let me know off list if you need help. for sound input, i believe you can use a simple headphone jack to rca adapter cable for line level sound input (unless i'm looking at the developer note for the wrong model) which easily and cheaply solves that problem.
