The G4 Yikes and Sawtooth were the first generation of the PowerMac G4 tower machines. 
They 
were released in 1999 and had the same case design as the translucent Blue and White 
G3's, except 
they were this kind of grey-green color (it's referred to as graphite).

The diference:

Yikes is the name given to the cheaper model that had four PCI slots. Three regular 
slots, and one 
for a video card. It was pretty much the same a G3, only with a faster chip.

Sawtooth was a G4 with a completely different motherboard. The main difference being 
that it was 
the first Mac to use and AGP slot for the video card. This model had 3 PCI slots and 
one AGP for the 
video card.

Past these, you'll hear reference to later model G4's as Windtunnel, Mirror Drive 
Doors (MDD), and 
Quicksilver.
