Thanks for the reminder Bruce. Another lister brought this voltage regulator issue to my attention a few weeks back. Although my machine appears to be a stock model in every aspect, I pulled the voltage regular and checked it for the name "Royal", which supposedly identifies the weaker regulators. Mine does not say that so I guess I'm good to go for the new G4. I need to pull it off it's MachCarrier card so I need to figure out the jumper situation. Daystar/XLR8 should have the information.

No, it doesn't. This is a problem specific to the Blue&White systems. Check the upgrade instructions at OWC, thought, there's another issue with some rev1 Beiges regarding a voltage regulator.
