Check the App's menu. Cmd-H has "traditionally" been assigned another
function in those apps, so I believe you use an alternate cmd (eg.
cmd-shift-H) *or* you may be able to go to preferences and effect this
change.

Hmm, nope, Command-H is hide Acrobat anyway, and when I did do Command-H it did hide, so there must be some condition that must be present for this bug...

Ah well. Now back to the linguistic discussion...   ;o)
