O.S. 9.2.2 will work just fine on a G3/266. That is what I am using. What is necessary to remember is that you can't just jump into 9.2.2. You need to install the base 9.0 first and then go through the upgrade path.
If Jason is copying a full 9.2.2 already working on another computer, going through the upgrade path does not apply. What he wants to know is whether 9.2.2 for eMac is a model-specific OS or a universal one, that can be also used on a G3 with no changes made. I'd like to know that too.
