Usually "IE only" sites can be fooled by changing the identifier for the browser. It's all to do with advertising if you ask me.

GGRRRR STUPID Microsoft Outlook...

Sorry for the repost

I am running 9.1 and have Internet Explorer 5.X installed. Microsoft stated
a year or so ago that they would not continue the development of Internet
Exploder on the Mac OS Classic or Mac OS X platform.

I suggest NetScrap version 7.X or 6.X. I am not sure what the proper version
of NetScrap is supported under Mac OS Classic.

Sites that support "Internet Exploder" only drive me CrAzY!!! My company
performs all sorts of interesting tasks online with web pages - guess what.
They are all hostil to any web browser with the exception of the highest
versions of Internet Exploder.

Lately I have been running "Mozilla FireFox 1.0" on my Windows 2000 laptop.
WOW it is a real speed demon!!!

I really hope that Mozilla FireFox is ported to Mac OS Classic. My old G3
could use the extra punch that FireFox provides.

It does not help with any "Internet Exploder" Only sites but at least the
web sites that do conform to general Internet practices load 30% faster!!!

Sorry I am not much help, I just wanted to plug the FireFox product.

BTW

It will take a small army to get me to stop using Mac OS X's Safari!!!
Yes I know Camilion is available for Mac OS X, I will not switch, never!
NO!
It's SAFARI or DIE!!!
No I SAY!
SAFARI RULES, all other DROOL!
S.A.F.A.R.I - Smart Admins Forever Are Ruling the Internet!!! There will be
no talk of the wrecked M$ Exploder on Mac OS X!

Mac OS Classic is almost gone. There is no reason not to upgrade to Mac OS X
unless your hardware can not meet the demands of Mac OS X. Once I switched
to 10.2 I never looked back. 10.3 was a worth wile upgrade. There was that
10.1 thingy but I don't want to go there.

Sorry for the RANT!

Brian
