It's SAFARI or DIE!!!

I've been using Safari a lot on our new PB. Quite nice. Only found four sites that it fails on (brokerage and banking; Moz required).

If only Apple would get off its high horse and fix the bookmark import gizmo.

Yeah, that is cumbersome. Also, can anyone tell me what needs to be changed in order to stop getting broken Quicktime icons on lot's of sites in Safari 1.0.3?

Broken icons usually mean that the web site failed to send the image or that the file received was corrupted (cannot be decoded).

Try running a traceroute to the site. Make sure you're not having packet loss or time-out issues etc.

I have copied the URL and checked in IE to see what is supposed to be there on the page a few times. Usually it is just a stupid ad or something else, often with motion.

hum. IE and IIS (MS' web server software) use a non-standard method to communicate. If the IIS server is badly configured, it can sometimes have problems talking to non-IE browsers. That would manifest itself as the broken icons...

Loads fine for me on Panther.
