I assume your speaking about an IDE/ATA-HD???
You can zero a SCSI-HD.
Trying to zero an IDE/ATA-HD will destroy the HD.
Sign for happening this can be the ridiculous long time (52 hrs. IIRC) your
Mac is running this process.
I'm afraid you can forget about that HD.
BTW: Why will you zero that HD?
