You know, the whole "_potential_ damage" concept is so bizarre, I had to scope this out...

the next 30,000 years for "conspiracy" to pirate DirecTv (i.e. he was
_thinking_ of doing something without actually having done it).  If there's
another dimension to this that I've overlooked, please let me know.

An interesting read. Ignore the 30,000 figure; it's simply a fixed $500/mo for life. I don't have a big problem with that: Googling reveals he had 5000 customers... 5000 * the cost of the monthly service those customers would have "stolen" from DirecTV... Figuring $50 per, is $250,000 per month. At $500/mo he got off easy!
