I meant to point out that on these programs they have shown working scientists using G5s, not on sets, not with the Apple logo prominently displayed, running data. That's not to say they all use them but some apparently do. And, as the posting about NASA use indicates, perhaps the perception of what the perception of Macs is is already itself outdated.

I'm not talking about fiction programs, I'm talking about the US cable programs "American Justice" and "Cold Case Files" where they interview actual policemen and specialists about true cases. Often they will interview people in their offices (not on sets) -- this is where you see the G5s.
