exactly! it's sad how many people think that tv has connection to reality,
Of course everything used in enyertainment TV is merely a prop.
even "reality tv" is entirely fake and scripted. technical advisors are constantly ignored,
Such as "Walking with Dinosaurs"! Some of the paleontologists acting as advisors (for free!) were ignored repeatedly... that was one series which was based more on the writers' imaginations than facts, despite being promoted as a "documentary".
after all, if tv were an accurate portrayal of reality, we'd all be young and attractive.
look around you, the tv world is a lot "prettier", at least by many standards.

One SF book I read had a G10 in it, and he said it was a wonderful machine. We'll see...
