The Apple Online Store? How do I "bitch" about a problem to an operator. ForIt's an easy decision for me with a new laptop BTO. I buy from the on line Apple Store. Service is not an issue as any local Apple retail store will treat it exactly the same as if they sold it there. Now buying a refurbished unit can be a little more complicated as an individual reseller may have a special deal the other outlets cannot match.
$2,000 CND I want to shake someone's hand and walk out the door with the box
under my arm. I don't want to wait 7 days beside the mail box. For that kind
of service I turn to E-Bay.
I am confused. If you wanted a new Mac with a few upgrades from the factory
what would you do?
But for new, BTO, especially a lap top? The Apple web store is excellent. I have had good experiences there for a long time. Never had any hassles with responsiveness on the phone. BTW they now have a price match guarantee at the web store. My local Apple store gets the "impulse" business. We've bought iPod's, Airport and Airport Express there, plus numerous accessories and manuals. The Web store gets the BTO computer orders. Been a very satisfactory experience all around.
