I don't know if that is due to some preference I have set, but I often have to launch Internet Explorer 5.1.7 in order to use some sites. I am convinced IE is responsible for the bulk of my crashes. Ever since I began launching IE only when I really had to, and then quitting as soon as possible, my crashes have been reduced to less than 10% of what they used to be.

empty the cache files, clearing the history could help too.. iCab under 9.x is really solid for me.. Now in X? That's another story..I'm getting lots of "unexpected quits"-- usually type 2 error, sometimes type 3 error-- in iCab on OS 9.2.2 on G4 (sawtooth) 384MB RAM
Any ideas?
