I believe you stated the CPU you installed was a 266 MHz from a Beige G3.
Set your bus speed to 66MHz and the CPU to 266MHz. Don't over clock it and
re-try. It is possible the overcloced CPU is giving you greif. When you have
any problem, whether it appears to be CPU related or not, always back off
your overclocking.

B&W. I have a Rev 2. B&W with a G4 500. I had to purchase a 233MHz G3 to
reset the bios. I had to set it to a FSB of 66MHz to get the machine to
POST.
