i'm not sure, but <xlr8yourmac.com> will tell you. also, while that's a good idea, they are grossly overcharging you! you can make your own pad like that from a squishy mouse pad (the kind with fabric on top and foam on the bottom) or any similar foam. it will help, but it's not magic and won't completely silence things. you want to do the same thing for any other fans in the case.
also on some macs there's a fan grill on the power supply and on the case, the extra grill increase the noise from air turbulence considerably, you can remove the grill on the case and just use the one on the power supply (you want it to keep things out of the fan and to maintain the emi/rfi shielding). also see < http://www.sciplus.com/category.cfm?subsection=11&category=111> for some other materials that would work nicely. you want something "squishy" not springy, i.e. you want something dead, the type of material that things tend not to bounce off of but to come to rest on if say you dropped a marble on it the marble should suddenly stop when it hits rather than bounce off. you want to absorb the mechanical energy and turn it into heat (that is what really happens, it's just not much heat). besides, it's a great company with a truly warped sense of humor which i love! their cork sheeting might work nicely, just remember you need something thing so everything will still fit and you want it anywhere the power supply etc. touches the case. Do U.S. citizens deserve less than those of other countries? <http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article6505.htm> In many states citizens still have the option of using a paper ballot, if they ask. I urge all voters to demand the right to vote on paper and create an auditable election. There is something fundamentally wrong when voting machines are designed to not provide any physical record of votes. -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
