Did I say SIMMS?? Man I must be tired. You know what I mean, right??
I just saw a 256M Stick for $89.95 You got to be kidding me. Of course the last stick I bought for the MAC was a cool $35 or so. But that machine locks up a lot - for no reason. I am thinking RAM - but I could be wrong May be worth my while to get some NEW ram with a lifetime warranty. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Leroy Watkins (FunkyG)" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: "G-List" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, October 29, 2004 11:43 PM Subject: Re: Some Apple Upgrade questions..Help me out, please. > Thanks Danielle. > And all the rest of you who responded to this thread. > Very helpful. > > It would seem that finding an OS 9 CD is like finding GOLD. > Methinks Apple knows this and is purposely not making more - in order to > drive the price up - > and force users to upgrade. > Not quite a Gatesian move...but a firm business move nonetheless. > > Would seem to me there would be a MAC underground of sorts somewhere. > A local users group in the Hampton Roads, VA area. > I will seek them out. > But I think I will definitely hit the swaplist.
