Beyond that there are a whole bunch of good ones for more involved reading. Books I have found especially useful:
Ted Landau's "Mac OS X Help Line" Panther edition (Peachpit Press) "Mac OS X In A Nutshell" by McIntosh, Toporek & Stone (O'Reilly)
Everyone has a favorite, but Pogue's Missing Manual is the one I give to all my switcher friends.
