Judging $200-$300 worth of upgrades vs a $1200 iMac is one thing; $200 worth of upgrades vs. a $500 Mini is another thing entirely.


Being the cheapskate that I am, I am waiting for one to hit the special deal section of the Apple store. Since Apple store refurbs run around 16% off that means they SHOULD run around $425!!


Then when I get the $100 or so for my parted out G3 (G4 533 768meg, Radeon, etc) will make a difference.
