I have a small network at home, it has a cable modem, one PC which has the program that controls the router and 2 macs one runnig 10.3.8 and a PB with 9.1 All can get into the internet, but I cant get the two macs to "talk" to each other, I have File Sharing checked in both, but when I try to get to connect to each other (by using the Go feature in 10 or the Network Browser in 9.1, I get dialogs telling me that "it can't be found"
What is the proper procedure and settings in both computers?
When you go into you 'Network' prefs, does it show up as being connected via ethernet?
