AS for advantages between 9.2.1 vs. 9.2.2, I have not heard of any
mentioned on the list. It was a matter of some fine tweaks that the
average user won't notice.
The helper is useful to help install iTunes 2.0.4 on computers like
WallStreet that do not have built in USB, besides installing OS 9.2
on unsupported machines.

Yes...but I think what Richard also wanted to know is IF there
were any advantages to an upgrade from 9.1 to 9.2.2, and if so,
what they are specifically. I wouldn't mind finding out myself,
just for curiosity's sake. A list of disadvantages, if any, would

The best site I know of for info on later versions of OS9 is
os9forever.com. It is mostly geared towards installing later
versions of OS9 on pre-G3 machines, but it also explains the
benefits of the later versions. I used their "OS 9 Helper" to
install 9.2.2 on my dual-250 Umax S900.
