If you're absolutely sure that they are not needed, use a 'sudo rm -
rf' on the parent directory in Terminal. The sudo portion says to do
it with super user privileges and as such, it will ask for your admin
password to continue. Make sure that you are specifying the correct
folder after the '-rf' as this is a no-holds-barred, destructive
command and will remove everything inside the specified directory.
