I have all my web files copied to my X partition. I get hold of say "this.css" which /looks/ like a BBEdit file. I get info and change it to open with TextWrangler. Fine. The look of it changes to the TW icon right there and then. But if I go further and now click "Change all" I get a crazy message that says do I really want to allow all my "TextWrangler" files to open with TextWrangler! I agree anyway and click change all, it reverts the icon to BBEdit! Hang on a mo... or more than a mo... I think all this is due to it taking its time to digest and implement things... It is working well enough for now. (I have a theory that Apple have underestimated by about half an order of mag the power needed to run X well. I have 500MB of Ram but must max it out to 1500 asap and 2MB of backside and 933MHz of CPU fgs... :) Thanks. David Elmo -- G-List is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
