Last summer I removed my HD took it back east to a friend. He
partitioned the HD and installed OS 9.2 and OS X. I put the HD back in
with no problem. After I did this I have never been able to open OS X
but still have OS 9.2.
I'm 75 years old and OS 9.2 is good enough for me.

My question is how do I "un-partition" the HD, get rid of OS X and
continue to use OS 9.2. The reason I want to do this is that my G3/300
with 576 MB worked fine before I decided to "upgrade". Set up the way it
is I have many problems.

The only thing that was good about the above was that I did upgrade from
9.1 to 9.2 which works great.
