This is just as an FYI sort of thing, I receive just mail
solicitation for *reduced* prices on software like $55 for Adobe
Suite and $50 for Office 2004. I look at them, but understanding
that buying from places like this hurts us all, I've never purchased
anything. The DO have listed the x86 OS of Mac OS X available for
download for $45. And there's a chatroom on AOL where one of the
members has it installed on his PC. So, it's out and being used
already. Generally it's been reported as a positive experience. The
only problems they seem to be having is with iTunes and that has not
be fully explained to me. I'm certain that some of you have also
heard of this? Gentlemen and Ladies, the times, they are a-
changing. I see Apple as a software and hardware powerhouse starting
to make a dent in the Microsoft Dominated Market. Tell me you disagree.

This conception that "Windows" hardware is crap is completely
unjustified.
I'm wondering since when did x86 become synonymous with the Windows
OSes? Just because a car has a V8 engine doesn't mean it's a
Chevrolet. Please, stop confusing an OS for the hardware it's
running on.
