And so it begins...
ON the evening before we anxiously await new iBooks to be announced with dual core yonah processors, my little screen condition has accelerated, and the screen is approaching being not able to be used. Fourth time in for this, and since I've had it worked on much, I'm hoping that rather than simply taking it away from another week or two that they will simply take the most cost effective option and just replace it. Oh well, at least I was smart about it and bought applecare. Still, I wish I didn't have to go through this hassle and could simply have the working iBook I paid for.

True, but since Apple call PowerPC 750 'G3', PowerPC 74xx 'G4' and PowerPC 970 'G5', what's to stop them calling the Intel machines 'G6' - I know the whole Generation thing was meant to signify the relative generation of PowerPC processor going into the machines but it's become something of a trademark for Apple now, and it's not like anybody officially else refers to the various PPCs as Generation X.

We can't say anything for a little less that a week yet :P
