2) Snob Appeal. Yes, I know this sounds terrible, but right now, when
someone tells me they're running X, it indicates to me that they "know what
they're doing" because they've taken the time, effort and money to do so.
If X is now able to run on kreppy x86 boxen, someone saying that X is their
OS of choice is just not that impressive any more. To me, anyway. [shrugs]

Generalizations and assumptions, gotta love it. So if an x86 box is running
*nix is it still "kreppy" ? Try supporting Mac users and that stereotype
will change.
