That statement isn't true. Some hard drives are better than others,
and Apple uses the better ones. Apple uses the better memory, video
cards, power supplies, etc. And guess what, Apple is working with
Intel on their motherboards, and Intel makes the highest quality
motherboards. You guys see the benchmarks? The Mac Book Pro Core Duo
1.83GHz is 4x as fast as a 1.67GHz G4. In other words, in a fair
comparison between a 1.67GHz G4 and a 1.67GHz SINGLE core Centrino the
Centrino BLOWS THE G4 AWAY!!!
