Which would NOT be true if only Apple's software engineers had properly "optimized" the OS for the G-series as was previously stated on this list (more than once! Am I the only one who reads this stuff?). OS X COULD have been MUCH faster on the G-series if Apple hadn't for some unknown reaon tied a brick around it's neck. I'd love to know why they did that, but I'm sure Jobs isn't gonna tell us why anytime soon. And I really don't care how fast anybody claims an Intel "Mac" (whether MacBook or "MacMac"), I have no desire to buy one! Talk about "lemmings"! I guess Jobs really does have the "cult of personality". Maybe when OS X is running on every Dell, Gateway, and HP out there, and Apple isn't making computers anymore, you'll all finally realize that this Intel thing wasn't such a great idea after all. Tiger for x86 is already available all over the web. But I guess the majority of you "Mac people" only care about the OS anyway, so it won't really matter to you.............
