That won't work. Mac disk images are only readable on a Mac. There are memory sticks that incorporate security features, <http:// tinyurl.com/9fj4s> which may work. (I'm not sure about Mac support)

You can encrypt files in a dual platform manner with GPG, but that requires GPG be installed. <http://www.gnupg.org/>

Best idea with them is to keep them physically secure, though.
