The From and Subject in the list view of the mail box is blank, and
when I view the message there is no header at all, even when I select
show all headers. Also, the content does not change if I select Show
Raw Source. I have also selected all text and pasted it into a new
textedit document and nothing new shows up. All my mailboxes are pop
and are Online.
I have seen 3-4 of these today, and this is the first time I have seen
this. It has possibly corrupted my junk mail box (or it may be
coincidence. I lost some messages in the Junk mailbox today (I leave
mail there and it is not set to autodelete) that showed up in my
regular inbox after I rebuilt all my mailboxes.
OK, my junk mailbox is showing one of these, dated 1/13/06 12:48 pm. As
soon as I delete it, another one appears, same message and date. I have
deleted about 20 so far and as soon as I delete one, another shows up
in the mailbox. The mailbox only shows one message in it at a time.
I have rebuilt the junk mailbox a couple of times to no avail.
There are no attachments and no links in it, so I think I can rule out
a windows virus or phishing scam.
Any ideas?
